Overview
Polish Hill is one of the original skateparks in Pittsburgh. At the center is a large square-shaped bowl with rounded corners. It’s large in footprint but not super deep, maybe 5’ or 6’. There is a small DIY concrete extension on one side of the bowl.
More recently, DIY elements have popped up, surrounding the bowl, which have given the skatepark a ton of character. All four corners of the park have large concrete ramps with SUPER steep transitions. I’ve never seen so many different materials in a single park: wood, concrete, metal ramps all together.
