Overview

9th and Poplar is a sprawling DIY park tucked beneath a train overpass, located midway between Center City and Temple University. After a decade of community organization and elbow grease this park has quite literally cemented its place as a Philadelphia skate icon. The park caters to both street and transition riders with a wide variety of quirky obstacles. The focal point is a medium-sized transition area at the far end of the park, perfect for boards and bikes.
