Overview

Paine’s Park is a multi-purpose public space designed specifically to accommodate skateboarding as well as civilians. The park is sprawling; you can’t really take it all in from any one spot. There are lots of natural barriers and pockets that allow you to have a private session, even with a couple dozen skaters there. Brick has been incorporated into the riding surface of the park, which is most noticeable on the various quarter pipes with criss-cross brick patterns.

There’s not much more to say about this park. It’s got something for everyone and opportunities for endless creativity and variation! It’s a spot that skaters of Philadelphia should be proud of.
